pictures i have taken*: blurry succulents.
*i know my pictures aren’t art. i love art, and i know the difference between it and the kind of thing i do. i take sort of pretty pictures, common, ordinary. art steps outside the common and ordinary to become something unique and extraordinary. i don’t pretend to that, and i no longer aspire to it, because i realize that i don’t have that kind of genius. but … sometimes i just want to share a pretty picture. it’s not going to push an envelope or change the way you look at things, but maybe you’ll think it’s nice. this was from tuesday, when it rained. :)
